NOSTALGIA

6802Before my husband and I had our twins, we would travel every three to four months. In the short time we have been married, we have visited various cities in Africa, Europe, Middle East, United States and a small island in South Polynesia. Every time we came back home, we would find ourselves inspired and cultured and would immediately start planning for our next trip. All our trips were focused around visiting a city because of their food, history or architecture. And we rarely went back because many times, we would find hidden gems within my new hometown that reminded me of our travels. Like this little place I stumbled upon…

One of my favorite trips I went on a few summers back was to Roma. I remember spending two months planning our eight day trip to various cities in Italy. I had the full schedule covering sight-seeing, restaurants to dine at, and experience local culture. One thing I miss was the architecture. The intricate detail of the buildings and how everything was done by hand in a grand-design that just makes you grab a cup of coffee, sit on a bench and admire.

Kind of like this dress I picked up from Mendocino. The moment I saw it, I instantly fell in love with the intricate design in print and style. I have a few weddings to attend in the next few weeks and I wanted something that was unique, different and fun. Kind of like the ladies whose weddings I will be attending. At the same time, I wanted a dress that was perfect to camouflage the little bulge I have from my pregnancy.

Another item I picked up was this gorgeous Valentino rockstud bag from Love That Bag. You all know I have a huge weakness for designer duds and scoring them at a great price is something I will not pass on. This bag is perfect to go with any look, and as you can tell, perfect to go with a long flowey maxi. I have been going to Love That Bag as my go-to place for letting go of my favorite designer bags so I can make room to add news to my collection. The staff is incredibly sweet, they carry some amazing bags that are highly sought out and best of all ladies – the price point is just right! Check them out and see if they have your dream bag….here

Your dress is gorgeous! And you are so lucky you got to travel so often. My husband and I would love to travel more but we have such limited vacation time with our jobs. So short weekend trips are what we do now 🙂

Isn’t the dress just beautiful!! So perfect for summer and weddings!
I love short weekend trips! Before I met him, that’s all I did with my girlfriends and they were the best! I hear you about having limited vacation time with jobs, I would take time out and unpaid leave just so we could travel before we had kids.
      Thank you for stopping by

Oh, how I would love to be able to travel every three months. Might be this rainy British summer we are having, but my wanderlust is ever growing 🙂 Now, that’s a stunner dress here, perfect for a wedding and any other formal occasion when you don’t mind heads turning your way ♥ Absolutely gorgeous! Wishing you a great week ahead
