The weather in the six has been a slushy situation for the last few days, until today. Today the weather was freaking amazing with temperatures around 12 C; so I had to ditch my parka for a long cardigan.
I have a huge love affair with knits. This winter I heavily indulged in extending my sweater/knit collection to a point where I have literally run out of room to store them. So for someone who has a large collection of knitwear, I was surprised that I didn’t own a single cardigan. Lucky for me I found this beautiful piece at Bench. Canada.
I fell in love with the chunky knit and floor length. The chunky knit was perfect to keep me warm from the occasional gust of wind and was incredibly comfortable to snuggle in. The floor length does wonders by creating an illusion of height for someone who is petite.
Because Bench. is having a huge sale, I grabbed this cute short top and city pants and I finally had the chance to wear them with the weather cooperating. The top is at the perfect length where it hits you right below your belly button and doesn’t show any skin,unless you raise your arm.

What a cozy outfit! The cardigan is the perfect loungewear, and I really like your trainers. This year I need to find a cute pair of white trainers! I only have my gym ones.
I would probably prefer a long cardigan to a short cardigan. Glad you got some use of this stuff.

I love the long cardigan! I haven’t ever been a big fan of cardigans, but I am falling in love with the long chunky ones now. And your sneakers are perfect with it! I just bought those and can’t wait to wear them 🙂
