The Perfect Grey Coat

Finding a coat that compliments my height and physique is tough. What is also tough for me is finding one that is a perfect wool blend that feels and looks luxurious. Especially when my office look is a mix of elegant and chic, I want my coat to feel like an extension of the outfit I have on underneath. It should flow seamlessly and appear as a single unit.
Last month I went to New York City for some downtime and enjoy the freakishly warm weather they were having when I stumbled across this gorgeous coat at Aritzia. The moment I put on this coat, I was a goner. The fit, structure, and material was king! I felt like I was in a cocoon of the softest and luxurious wool ever. I loved how the buttons were discrete so I can cinch the waist with the belt while hiding the fact I didn’t button up. Another huge love is the deep patch pockets! I can’t tell you the countless times I have had my keys or cell phone slide out of my pocket because they were shallow and on the side. Having deep square patch pockets has a been life changer in making sure my contents are safe and secure.
